Hon. Janaka Wakkubura has assumed duties as the State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs in the presence of the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Mr.M.M.P.K Mayadunne.

The Secretary to the State Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government Affairs, Mr.W.M.M.B Weerasekara, Director/CEO of SLILG, Dr.Suratissa Dissanayake, and other ministry officials also participated in this event.
